What does Homelessness Look Like to you?

We will be having an open discussion about homelessness. This is a global issue. Are you helping people in these type of life scenarios? Are you running from them when your approached by someone asking for you help? Do you find yourself having judgements, and opinions about people that live on the streets? Do you assume that all people that are homeless are drug addicts? Mentally ill? Alcoholics? Incompetent human beings that just couldnt live normally amongst the rest of us? What are you thoughts, feelings, opinions? This is a show that will touch all aspects of homelessness from across the world. We need to remove the labels, the stereotypes and expectations of what that word means to us, what it feels like and perhaps find out if its even ours. This will be a raw, open discussion on a topic that many want to run from. How do you feel we could solve the problem of homelessness? Are you doing anything to assist in making this positive change? Why do you think we are still dealing with such issues in 2009/2010? We have the means, we have the money, but are putting our time, energy and resources into other things.. like high end shopping malls.. mm leaves some wondering if our heads and hearts are truly in the right place. I am doing a drive for blankets and warm winter clothing and perhaps even sack lunches.. to be delivered to the people out on the streets of Seattle for the winter months.
