gcasperson doesn't realize that when practice is "drill and thrill," and students are successful that they will enjoy it so much that they ask for it. Adult educators make assumptions on what children like never thinking to ask them when a strategy that the adults don't think they'll like is done well.

Seems book is cognitive tips to increase knowledge in for general ed students. Nothing really on how to engage students in practice (which they find boring and turns them off if they don't find relevant)?
