National Free Leonard Peltier Day

We are currently working with leaders in the Native American community and dedicated activists to organize a nation-wide peaceful, spiritual rally on November 12, 2016.  A national call for compassionate clemency for Leonard Peltier.  This event supports Amnesty International’s action to help Free Leonard Peltier. Leonard Peltier is 72 years old and has been in Federal prisons since 1977 for something he didn’t do.  All of his years in prison can be described as “hard time”.  In addition, he has never received adequate medical treatment, he suffers from a variety of illnesses and will die in prison if President Obama doesn’t grant him compassionate clemency.
