Well, it is that time of the year again. A time for family gatherings of loved ones and assembling with friends and associates to celebrate life and relationships. A time to reflect back on God's goodness; a time allocated to be thankful and grateful. A beautiful time of the year without a doubt. Yet this time every year, many are going into this season in bereavement, because their loved ones are no longer here to celebrate. Some are entering in this season dealing with a broken relationship of some sort, the absence of someone special, a broken engagement, or even a loss of job. What about the parents who can't afford to give their child a gift of some sort? These losses and diappointments leads to isolation and for many severe depression. Not to mention that suicide is at a high rate during this time of the year. However, we must know and understand that there is ENCOURAGEMENT and HOPE for the holidays. Whatever state a person may be in, you can make it through the difficult season. Regardless, there is a reason to be thankful and having joy is indeed possible.
