The battles that other people go through impose conflict and challenges upon you. Both in your personal dealings and in how your country fairs, people's beliefs and battles can wreak havoc on your own situations unless you can clearly recognize the battles and how to win them. This goes for every type of situation, including the elections. You want other people to do what is right (a.ka. win) because it makes it easier and better for you. However, you cannot let the losses that other people are experiencing cause you to also lose, especially when it causes you losses you do not realize are losses.
