Grandparents Rights are not automatically guaranteed! We, at Tomatoes In the Trenches were shocked to learn this. Grandparents in the U.S. do have rights and can seek visitation with grandchildren, but those rights are vulnerable and vary from state to state. Understanding your basic rights can help ensure that your relationship with the grandchildren doesn't suffer. Our guest today Susan Hoffman, is the creator and director of ADVOCATES FOR GRANDPARENT GRANDCHILD CONNECTION and author of the new book  “A Precious Bond”, how to preserve the Grandparent-Grandchild relationship. She also sponsored a bill in California on behalf of Grandparents Rights and it became law in 2007.  Susan Hoffman is quite a force.  Join us on May 23rd at 2PM EST as Susan Hoffman shares her experience and expertise on the topic of how grandparents can sustain those precious bonds under a variety of experiences and circumstances.  It promises to be a very informative and enlightening show.
