Darla Allgood was married 34 years and has 5 sons, 3 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter. She has made appearances on The Jane Pauley Show, Fox and Freinds, and Today Show, and is spokesperson for The Little Glimmer Lyme Foundation.
Darla was crowned Mrs. Elite Petite Today's American Woman Pageant in 2015 and National Queen in 2016 for Today's American Woman Pageant. Her title has opened doors to amazing people and long lasting friendships. The journey has been amazing and rewarding. Darla's story from Heartache to Happiness is published in Rushnells Squire book "When God Winks at You".
Darla lives in Palmer Lake Colorado and speaks at conferences across the United States. She has shared her testimony on several radio stations telling how God can take such a heartbreaking experience and turn it into pure joy.
