Nipping Revolt at the Bud and You (2 Samuel 20)

The revolt by David's son has just been ended, and now another revolt takes place. A man from the late King Saul's tribe convinced Israel to follow him instead of David. Instead of sitting around in any type of indecision, David immediately strikes back. Another person in this story promotes peace -- a woman promises a man's head so that her town would not be destroyed. These are actually two people who took decisive action to regain peace and set things in order.

We can also keep the peace in our lives, no matter what attacks come. It doesn't happen without effort, though!
