A Courageous Truth Teller and You (Judges 9)

Abimelech becomes king after killing the 70 sons of Gideon, who had rescued the nation. One person escaped the savagery, and it was Jotham.  Jotham didn't just run and hide. He shouted out a parable at the top of a mountain, and it was his way of telling the truth about what had really happened. He stood up for Gideon, cursed the people involved with the slaughter, and then he escaped to a safe place -- which was a good idea, because Abimelech was king for a few years.
