Burwell also has a tremendous five year tenure with the management team of the entertainment company garnering Stellar, Grammy, Soul Train and NAACP award wins and nominations in the past decade. Currently his career was favored by movie mogul Tyler Perry (www.tylerperry.com) to feature his music/scoring ability in the LIONSGATE box office smash, “WHY DID I GET MARRIED” which he wrote with Soul World Entertainment partners Cliff Jones and Dave Lindsey for Verity Recording Artists, The 7 Sons of Soul (www.soulworldentertainment.com). This led to more opportunities with Tyler Perry/LIONSGATE/TNT with musical works that are featured in “THE FAMILY THAT PREYS” and “WHY DID I GET MARRIED TOO”.
