Debut Novel THE ROPES THAT BIND.

           Release date: August 12, 2016

Tracy Stopler grew up in the Bronx, received a B.S. in dietetics from Oneonta College and an M.S. in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from New York University.  In 1989 she started her own business, NutritionE.T.C.,Inc, which offers individualized nutrition and fitness plans, and classes in nutrition and physiology, fitness, and meditation.  She teaches Nutrition and Exercise Performance at Adelphi University, is a dietetics mentor for several Long Island universities, and has written extensively about nutrition and fitness.  Tracy is also a licensed pastry chef, and walks 3 miles every day with her dog.  Six years ago Tracy began volunteering as a child victim advocate for The Safe Center, a Long Island based refuge for victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence. She is now The Enough Abuse Campaign Coordinator at The Safe Center. Her first novel, THE ROPES THAT BIND: Based on a True Story of Child Sexual Abuse. will be published tomorrow, August 12. It is based on an incident from her own life.
