It is only by the grace of God that Silvia Lathen, a victim of child abuse, incest and rape, is alive today and here to tell her story to others who need help, hope, healing and restoration. After years of sexual, mental and physical abuse, Lathen is now a born again Christian. Silvia has written a powerful, inspirational book, The Unlatched Door, about the story of her life as both a victim of and a survivor of unimaginable circumstances of child abuse.

Sylvia is now an inspirational speaker and has a passion for helping children, teens and parents, transform and empower their lives. She believes that building a stronger bond between parents and children will create a better relationship so children won’t be afraid to communicate about any issues they may have.
