There is no bigger confusion in our culture than the difference between a spiritual and psychological wound. In fact, there is a tendency to merge the two as if they are the same. A spiritual wound is an event that happens outside of time that impacts your relationship with the source, God, or Universe. A psychological wound happens in real time and affects the relationship you're having with yourself and others. This means human suffering occurs in two ways: (1) separation from the source and (2) divided against ourselves and others. One is the human condition the other is something that happens to us. In this way, suffering does not equal victimazation.
