Herb joins me to talk about this new book “ The Run Dont Count: The Life And Times of Frank Chance and his 1908 Chicago Cubs” featuring the 1908 Chicago Cubs. Find out about the fascinating characters that make up that team, Joe Tinker, Johnny Evers, Frank Chance, 3 Finger Brown and others. In addition to being an author, Herb is also a former writer at the Chicago Sun Times.  He was also a vendor and groundskeeper at Wrigley Field in 1969 and by 1984 had become a columnist.
