Entrepreneur Alecia Sparks

Join me on Empowerment Talk for Today's Women as we present The Nashville Women's Empowerment Workshop Series " Morning Motivational Message" with my guest Alecia Sparks.

Alecia originally hales from rural Wisconsin, but relocated to Tennessee in 2007 and loves it!  Being a home-based business owner affords her the opportunity to spend time with her family, to travel and to pursue her interests in gardening and cooking.  Alecia is a member of several networking and community organizations, including the Clarksville Networking Group and Rotary, and enjoys being involved in her community. 

Alecia was inspired to own a home-based business after meeting Michael Sparks, now her husband, and observing the time freedom he had achieved with his own home-based business.  After 15 years of working as a Project Director and traveling 40+ weeks every year, Alecia knew the time had come to take the necessary steps to become a business owner instead of an employee, and to take charge of her financial situation.  She joined SendOutCards as an Independent Distributor in late 2008 and worked her SendOutCards business in parallel with her traveling job, setting a goal to be able to quit her job and focus exclusively on her own business within 5 years. .
