Parenting effectively on its own is a hard job that many of us seem to struggle with. However, when parenting a child who is special needs or has a chronic condition or illness the stress level can often increase. Many times parents feel overwhelmed and alone when parenting children with chronic conditions. These feelings can often lead to miscommunication between parents, neglect of the child, abuse, feelings of guilt, depression and so much more. How can parents ensure that they are providing their children with special needs the best care possible? What resources and/are support are available? How do parents deal with their own personal feelings without taking them out on the child? Please join us by calling (323) 642-1765 on Friday February 26, 2016 as we continue our series on parenting and discuss this family matter!
