Can a Man be a side piece??

From Madame's to Mistresses, for alot of women..an age old profession. Now..in 2015 the rules are changing and men are trying there hand at "side stardom". So I guess the question should be put out there, "Can a Man be a side piece" Are there really men out there capable of handling such a role without damage to their tender ego's??
