I, first, shared this show when our daughter, Juliana, was going through cancer treatments for the 4th time.  I was having some pretty rough days dealing with seeing her go through so much health problems.

Some of what I share, in this show is:

Is it possible to increase your chances of "staging your breakthrough."

It has been said, “Fruit does not grow on mountaintops, but in valleys.”

“We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed and broken. We are perplexed, but we don’t give up and quit. We are hunted down, but God never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up again and keep going” (2 Corinthians 4:8-9) NLT

 C. M. Ward said, "…no two people are meant to carry identical loads."

The "Iron Sharpens Iron" principle says that if you have someone in your life that does not have similar objectives, goals, integrity and character than they will not be effective in sharpening you.

Sometimes we get "dull" in our life quests and we need someone with like-motivation to encourage us to keep going. If you have someone with no drive or who does not understand that life is lived "on purpose" they will not be effective in helping you over hurdles.

As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. (Proverbs 27:17)

When we don’t have friends that challenge us and encourage us to grow, we grow dull.
