Once the pain of divorce begins to subside and questions about who’s going to split what and move where have been answered, conversations usually trickle into less minor concerns, like should you keep your wedding ring? Return it? Pawn it? Or, in Porsha William’s case, still wear it.

On last night’s episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Porsha’s sister Lauren questioned her for still wearing her ring from time to time four years after the end of her marriage to Kordell Stewart, saying, “Oh my God, you’re wearing it like it’s costume jewelry.”

“It is costume jewelry!” Porsha replied. “It’s mine. And it’s a diamond!”

True and true, but it’s not just any diamond; it’s a diamond in a ring that was meant to symbolize your undying love for your ex-husband. Perhaps, in the 36-year-old reality star’s eyes when the marriage dies so does the significance of the rock?

I’m not sure what I’d do in this case, but I certainly couldn’t see myself still wearing my wedding ring on my wedding finger after getting a divorce, if for no other reason than to make sure men know I’m actually available. Most likely, though, I’d tuck it away with other mementos (or pawn it if I really needed the cash).

What would you do with your wedding ring after divorce?
