Gina Agustin found her place at West Hawaii Mediation Center in 2014 and has progressed into many different roles including leading the Center’s Foreclosure Mediation Program and now her current role as Program Manager for the Mediation Programs at WHMC.

Being part of a small non-profit on a very large island, Gina is tackling the task of building relationships, connecting the community to conflict resolution and informing the public that it’s okay to reach out for help when unexpected or unwanted conflict appears.

Gina will share the knowledge learned in her 4 years in a non-profit mediation center including learning what it means to be a “neutral”, how she’s connecting with her community and the challenges that come with leading a community mediation program.
