Today we have Joe Fleenor Member of Timberline 1956 on our Podcast! Welcome Joe!

We will be talking about a passion Joe has: MOTH Here is a link to the Moth website.

The Moth is a competitive storytelling event. The theme for the evening is given out in advance. The story has to be true, it has to have happened to the story teller, It has to be a story with a beginning middle and end, the microphone has to stay in the stand, and the storyteller can't use any notes. Ten storytellers are chosen at random from a bag they put their entry form in. Five story tellers in the first half and five in the second half.  After each story teller tells their story the three sets of judges give them a score based on the Olympic scoring system 8.5 or 9.1 etc. The winner gets to perform at the next Grand Slam Championship competing against the other monthly winners for that year.

How has Toastmasters played a part in your life with MOTH?

How many times you have done it and why more than once?

Do you feel it woul benefit other Toastmasters?

What else can you tell us about MOTH?

What other words of wison do you have for your fellow Toastmasters?

Thank you Joe!
