The Color of Grief Podcast welcomes Hasina T. Roach to our show on September 29, 2019 at 6pm Eastern Standard Time. Today's Topic: Grief The Silent Killer

 The topic talks about how grief and trauma affects our communities and how the trauma of grief leaves our people in pain and that pain perpetuates an ongoing cycle within our communities (In other words) Hurt people Hurt people. 

Hasina T. Roach MS, MFT, ACB, a native of Springfield, Massachusetts, a Relational Consultant and a Solution-Focused Consultant.  She completed her Master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University in Marriage and Family Therapy in December of 2007. Hasina has nineteen years of working experience encompassing: mentor-ship, social work, facilitating, being a court expert, a professor and advocate for children and their families.  She has been working as a therapist for the past twelve years. Her enjoyment spans working with group, families, couples and individuals.

 Hasina has extensive knowledge in her discipline, and is able to motivate others, where she can make a direct impact in the people she serves.  Hasina has a knack for working in different populations and has a deep concern for the well-being of others--especially high risk populations. Currently she is a Consultant and The Education Chair on the Board of South Florida Trauma Society and President of First Edition Toastmasters Club in Fort Lauderdale, FL where she resides and raises a son.
