Reducing the impact of homelessness through creative redevelopment

Modesto and Stanislaus County have a homeless problem that they working towards coordinating efforts on.  The attention and energy at the executive level is good. 

Mayor Sabatino - is suggesting that they consider doing what Albuquerque, Orange County, Los Angeles, Lake Tahoe, Santa Ana, and Anaheim are all doing…   Converting dilapidated “nuisance" motels into supportive apartments for the homeless. 

Tonight we look at the City of Los Angeles where the concept has moved from “a good idea” to a funded enterprise with the complete support of the government.
