The Allen Steen years , the Jhoon Rhee years and of course who was not glued to their television sets in 1974 when the now famous broadcast of the ABC Wide World of Sports debut of this sport of full contact karate.

He would go down in the history books though the archives for the fans and for Black Belts in help creating though Mike Anderson's vision of full contact the 1974 Full Contact World Championships where he earned the first ever title with two other American icons of Sport Karate Mr. Bill Wallace and Mr. Joe Lewis R.I.P
They set the standard for the future.
What was his most memorable fight and was their a event that changed his life direction?.
What was it like to fight a debut match in front of millions of soon to be fans with the Muhammad Ali broadcast and and introducing to the world that Full Contact /Kickboxing was a real professional sport for the public?
