Listen to The African History Network Show, (Special Time) Saturday, Dec. 31st, New Year's Eve 9pm-12midnight EST. Spend New Year's Eve with us as we discuss "Should African-Americans Celebrate Christmas" & Part 2 of "What Is Kwanzaa?" We'll discuss the history of Christmas going back to the Pre-Christian and it's origins in the Festival of Saturnalia. We'll also discuss why Dec. 25th was chosen as the date of the celebration.

We'll continue our discussion on "What Is Kwanzaa?". We'll share more articles and ask the questions, can Kwanzaa be made popular again like it was back in the early 1990's. We'll discuss pros and cons of celebrating as well. Do you celebrate Kwanzaa or not? Call in and tell us where the Kwanzaa celebrations are in you city.
