Fred was born and raised in Buffalo NY  ...attended Purdue University...graduated from University of Montana (MSU in way back days)...taught Biology...coached football, wrestling and track in Hamilton...started the wrestling program there...designed and built a restaurant in Missoula...same with and ran a drive-in restaurant in Missoula......developed an accredited Real Estate Continual education Course for REALTORS that he taught in Montana and Washington State...designed a marketing program for three dental offices in San Antonio Texas increasing their sales from $20,000 a month to $117,000 per month in eight months....he also designed and built a ten chair "turn-key" dental facility in San Antonio...assisted the Seattle police in a 'sting' operate...sold life insurance...licensed in Texas, California, New York, Montana, Idaho...served Montana State Senate 1971-1975

 

Fred, a Republican is the only first year legislator ever appointed to the Legislative Counsel...yet he was appointed by Senate Democrat Leadership...it is said that they appointed him for several reasons...first because of his work ethic...2nd for his ability to work effectively with fellow legislators on both sides of the state
