Another weekend passes by: Did anything good happen? If spending our country into oblivion, weakening our national defenses and turning up the heat on Tea Partiers are considered good, then it was a terrific weekend! If Climate Change legislation is beginning to unravel, it was a GREAT weekend! If increasing numbers of Americans are going to take Arizona's lead and insist that laws be followed, great times could be ahead! If Americans are waking up to the fact that Entitlement Spending Programs were always simply a bunch of Socialist Ponzi schemes, stupendously good times could be ahead. If yours truly finally breaks out and succeeds in self-employment, awesome times will be ahead! And, finally, if the Blazers find a way to win in a best two out of three, Portland will at least be a happy place for the next couple of weeks. American Pie and Office Space back-to-back...that is automatically a good weekend of TV...much, much more
