Natasha Pearl Hansen (“NPH”) began her comedy career writing a series of books famed in her Wisconsin hometown as “Natasha’s books of random thoughts” when she was only 16. After studying Theatre, Pre-med, and Psych in college, she decided to merge her loves for all three into a comedy niche. She began her career at Second City in Chicago in early 2007, where she was a sketch writer/performer for numerous sketch reviews, as well as a performer and director of improvisational comedy. Since then, her career as a solo stand-up comedian began to take off, and she has since worked with the likes of Tom Green, Jason Sudeikus, Chris D’Elia, Norm MacDonald, and the writers of Chelsea Lately. She produces and features in shows all over the country, including clubs such as Caroline’s and Gotham in NY, The Comedy Store and the Improv in LA, and various clubs in major coastal and midwest markets, as well as Comedy Festivals such as the Laughing Skull in Atlanta and South by Southwest in Austin, TX.
