Hide and Seek, Concrete v. Handgun, VRA weakened and pork laced bullets.  These events represent a slice of the week we’ve had since we last connected with you Listeners.
Hello everyone.  Tonight we will discuss Edward Snowden’s “Bogus Journey” to avoid US justice; by trying to play Hide & Seek with the United States. That doesn’t really work anymore, ask Osama bin Laden. However, Kamal called it right last week; there is something fishy about him.
Also the George Zimmerman murder trial is underway.  After a jury of 6 women was seated the proceedings are underway and wow, are they bizarre.  The defense is arguing that Trayvon Martin was armed with a concrete sidewalk and used it to “attack” Mr. Zimmerman. (blank stare)
Among other rulings this week, the Supreme Court struck down a key part of the Voting Rights Act.  In lieu of what we all just experienced during the 2012 election, is it shocking that the vote fell like it did?
And finally, along with “pork laced bullets” being marketed to “kill Muslims”, we will discuss the 4 year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death and the losses this week of a couple of entertainment icons in America.
Focusing on the major and sometimes overlooked topics affecting us in America today, the Nitelifer Circle of Sanity examines what is going on in Baltimore MD, Seattle WA, and all parts of the country in between.  The “Media” is or isn't talking about it, but regardless, The Nitelifer Circle of Sanity is! We hope to enlighten and educate while delivering the seriousness of the issues with sarcasm and humor.  Whether it is politics or social issues, The Nitelifer Circle of Sanity will be there.
