The Managed Futures Show

Most commodity futures traders lose money. A tiny minority earn returns ranging from solid to spectacular. What does that minority do differently? How do they approach the futures markets?

Is it better technical analysis? Stronger knowledge of supply / demand fundamentals? Perhaps the key is more disciplined money management. Or maybe the winners are just lucky?

Surprise! There is no simple, pat answer. If there were, everyone would use it and it would soon cease to work (and we certainly wouldn't disclose it).

Consistent futures trading success probably depends on a number of factors - and here's a hint: we believe that leverage, money management and trend following are among those critical elements.
