When a person is elected to public office, often it is because their PR people knew how to sell an image to the public. What happens if that elected official turns out to be a dismal disappointment? Is their a way voters can "fire" the person they "hired" before the term of office is finished? Are we teaching and preparing leadership to take over elected offices? Will the upcoming National Black Leadership Conference in St. Louis prepare the people for political power?
