Princess Adenike Akorede Presents African Heritage Awards

There are many unsung heroes who are making the world a better place by promoting the African Cultural values that create successful families and communities.  Princess Adenike Akorede, publisher of Shekinah International Magazine, is preparing for an annual African Cultural Heritage Awards banquet that will honor those whose works have made a difference. Today she discusses the African/African American Cultural connection, and how values of family and community can be restored in order to repair a people fragmented by a destructive past of slavery and colonialism.
