Women against domestic violence, abuse, and hate!

An estimated one in every three women worldwide experiences violence, with rates reaching as high as 70 percent in some countries. Gender-based violence ranges from rape to domestic abuse and acid burnings to dowry deaths and so-called “honor killings.”

Violence against women and girls — in peacetime and in conflict — knows no national or cultural boundaries.

We have made tremendous strides in combating these human rights abuses, but there is still much work to be done.

Tisha Smith founder of “We Love the Girls,” will share with us some of the warning signs of abuse in relationship and how to avoid being a victim and how to get out abusive relationship.  She will also speak about protecting our daughters, nieces, cousins, mothers, granddaughters and grandmothers.
