On this episode, we will discuss the recent report in North Carolina stating that NC Governor Pat McCrory signed into law House Bill 4, which becomes law July 1, 2013. It reduces state unemployment insurance benefits from a maximum of 26 weeks down to 20 weeks – and potentially as low as six weeks in times of full employment – and from a maximum weekly amount of $535 to $350.
