Oh, Money, Money, Me!

Back in the 70’s Marvin Gaye crooned, Oh Mercy, Mercy Me in a riveting song challenging the status quo on the Vietnam war, poverty, and social injustice. Although we are in a war and social injustice abounds, the overarching song crooning from Americans is, Oh, Money, Money, Me! Yet on the face of our common money denominator, In God We Trust is plastered. On a daily basis, in the media, in passing conversation, and within our spirits, we cry out for money. How to put your need for God before your need for money and get both!
