Care Is A Four Letter Word

Who cares? Also stated, I don’t care, is one of those sayings meant to indicate a lack of emotion about something or more often, someone. In this world where the love of many has waxed cold, it’s hard to find someone who really cares. But the Bible says, cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you. When the world spits the new four-letter word at you, preceded by the word Who, as in who cares, tell them Jesus does!

  • Original Air Date:

    Thank You

Two simple words, power packed, that go a long way. In everything give thanks the word says, but how can we give thanks in everything when everything just aint everything sometimes?

  • Original Air Date:

    Praise Him!

Prasie Him! The elderly lady shouts in church. you turn around to see what she's shouting about...nothing in particular to you. Flashforward 20 years and you're the old lady shouting, and yes just like you, the young folks are turning around. What in the world are the old heads shouting about!

Temptations In The Garden & Wilderness Of Our Lives

There are usually two situational premises for temptation in the life of the Christian - the garden or the wilderness, and everything in between is a respite before one or the other. The garden temptations occur, when you are in a state of apparent bliss, like Eve, unsuspecting and not watching. The wilderness temptations indicates a state of agonizing, like Jesus, you are probably very alert and suspecting. Both Eve and Jesus were in a sinless state when accosted by the tempter. Eve fell due to a lustful appetite for power and presumed that God would keep her from harm even if she disobeyed. The enemy assumed he had a tried and true trick and used the same method against Jesus in the wilderness. He tempted Jesus to give in to appetite, power, and presumption, but prevailed not. Are you in the garden or the wilderness? Are you giving in or getting victory?

Twilight Tonight: Friday the 13th Commentary On Spiritualism

Are vampires real? Can we communicate with the dead? Are we living in a virtual world where we can cross over by using special powers? If you live in America and watch at least 1 hour of TV a week you have probably seen the movie trailer for the movie New Moon. Today the author, S. Meyers revealed to Oprah that her books, which have become movies were impressed upon her through "dreams in the night." What does this really mean?

Mamma I’m Going To Buy Jesus A Train!

Kids really say some of the most amazing things. For instance, today my daughter went on a ramble about everything in the world she wanted for Christmas. I interrupted her thesis by asking her what she was going to give Jesus. Since she is going through the Thomas the train phase, she replied, I’m going to buy Jesus a train! Like children, we often base our requests on our limited conception of what we deem desirable and we sometimes equate God’s desire as comparable to our own. My daughter thought having a train was the highest of gifts because that’s on her list -not knowing Jesus already has a train. Which reminds me of the phrase, “What do you give a man who has everything?”

Exceeding, Abundantly, Above The Usual…For God

The oft-quoted, excerpted line from scripture found in Ephesians 3:20 is used as collateral for over-sized houses, stacked bank accounts and male or female counterparts who are perfect in physique, and mentally beyond the average with loads of money. We justify our longings as holding God to His word on this promise. In actuality, we are holding God hostage to our personal desires. However, when the roles are reversed, how willing are we to be exceeding, abundantly, above obedient or loving, or forgiving or longsuffering. In juxtaposition, Ephesians 3:20 sounds less like possible and more like near impossible. Why not surprise God and do for Him the exceeding, abundantly, above the usual…He is worthy of nothing less.
