•  Maureen recognized the objectification of women as something very destructive to women’s self esteem many years ago.  As a result her photographic work went far beyond simply taking pictures.  She imbues her photography sessions with compassion, unyielding patience, joy and fun.  She provides her clients an experience that spans time from her initial consultation, to shopping or selecting the ideal clothing and accessories, to consultation with hair and make up, to posing, and to delivering her finished product in an elegant and healing manner.

•  In fine tuning her unusual approach and using her exceptional talent, she recognized what she was doing and how she was doing it was not just picture taking.  Her clients had started calling her their “phototherapist” due to the incredible healing they felt had transformed their back story as a result of their highly personalized photographic experience.  She decided to develop a whole new style and genre of photography called phototherapy.
