How many of us have thought to ourselves that if this had happened and that hadn't happened I wouldn't be here to this day? I'm lucky just to be here. There are plenty of us that feel that way. There are so many things that can happen to us adventure-wise that we can often wonder how it is that we are still alive and what is the reason that I'm still here? Is there a greater purpose that needs to be fulfilled or was it meant for us to perish in a different way?

We can never be 100% sure of why we didn't die after a violent situation or a life-threatening illness but many of us feel that because we did survive, some work in our lives needs to be done in the way of positvity to pay homage to our existence that  was made possible against all odds.

Have you ever been in a situation where you feel like you narrowly escaped? Made it out alive? Cheated death?

How about a situation where you made it out alive but another person dies? Would you be able to live your life happily in a tragedy like this if a person close to you did not survive in an accident or incident and you did? Would you feel lucky, blessed or would you feel empty or sad and wish that it had been you instead of them? Some sadness over this situation is certainly expected but you made it out alive. That has to account for something doesn't it?
