Stetson University hosted the second of two community forums to discuss issues that have arisen in the aftermath of the recent school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn. The forum focused on Mental Health & Violence in Schools, Campuses & the Community. Brigid Noonan, Associate Professor and Department Chair of Counselor Education at Stetson University, was the moderator. Panelists included: Amy Hall, Ph.D., Volusia County District Counseling Specialist, Student Support Services; Meghan Walter, Ph.D., Coordinator, School Counseling Program at Stetson University; Nancy Jacobsen, LMFT, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist; Ivan Fleishman, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist.
