SISFI Interview - Ms. Yvonne N. Pierre, author, advocate

Yvonne N. Pierre is an Author, Advocate, and MOMtrepreneur. While Yvonne holds two associate degrees, one undergraduate degree, as well as a Master's degree, the road paving her educational events was, indeed, incredibly challenging. Losing a father to murder before she was able to retain memories, diagnosed as nearly illiterate, dependent on alcohol at an early age, and raped on more than one acccount, Yvonne was equipped with enough reasons to keep many people in a sad state until they lay down for the final time.

Thanks to Yvonne's belief in something more than herself, known as God's purpose, she was able to hold on to her calling through her immensely cloudy stages. Without revealing the tearful, frightening, and wonderful elements of Yvonne's published memoirs, know that she is a woman with incredibly positive missions, however derailed at times, but never ceased.

As Yvonne's literacy range improved, so did her conversations with God. As Yvonne passed through different stages of her life, she took on causes to get her through her battles as well as positively affect those in her surroundings. She created an online magazine to highlight the accomplishments of children with special needs.
