Condoms… does your child have one?
Today there are school systems that are giving out condoms to children as early as pre-K, without parent knowledge or permission. Is this a practice with merit or is it one of the most dangerous offerings to children in their time of innocence.
Yet there are definitely other realities to consider because young adults and teens between 13 and 29 represent 39% of new HIV infections, the largest share of any age group. Every 9 1/2 minutes, someone in the U.S. is infected with HIV and minority communities are disproportionately affected with this modern plague. Herpes, HPV, and Hepatitis are viruses that can torment a person for life and can’t be ignored by parents who want to protect their child.
