Bad Habits and We aint talkin bout Maxwell

This past year a well received and needed come-back was made by the beloved ambassador to Neo-Soul music. Maxwell’s catchy, edgy, and dangerously true single “Bad Habit’s” has given way to this all too familiar trending topic. Why can’t we resist that insatiable appetite for forbidden love? When I talk about forbidden, I don’t mean the Romeo and Juliet type, but the sneaking around your back-lying type of love. The shit that will get you f&*% up! The lesson in this post is best put by Mr. Romance himself, Sir Shakespeare, “know thyself and be true”. Be true to yourself by not allowing peasants such as the “bad habit” mentioned above to take hold of your innermost feelings, be true to the standards and expectations you set for yourself and for a potential significant other, be true to your future and not play around in sexual behaviors that may potentially harm you, and most importantly be true to your heart, don’t let scum mold it.
