Shared Sacrifice Weekend--Victor Agosto

Specialist Victor Agosto of the U.S. Army is our guest this Saturday, June 27 on Shared Sacrifice Weekend. Specialist Agosto is refusing orders to deploy to Afghanistan. He returned from a 13-month deployment to Iraq in November 2007, was based at Fort Hood, and was stop-lossed and ordered to go to Afghanistan. He refused, stating "The occupation is immoral and unjust. It does not make the American people any safer. It has the opposite effect."
