There are stages to the sales funnel.  In order to scale your business you must understand the stages of your sales funnel and how each stage works.  From the Marketing Qualified Leads-To developing what is considered a qualified lead-to developing a system of scoring for leads-In other words you may want your sales funnel to look something like this below:

  1. Visitor-to-Lead Conversion Rate
  2. Lead-to-MQL Conversion Rate
  3. % Sales Accepted Leads
  4. Lead Work Rates
  5. MQL-to-Opportunity Conversion Rate
  6. Opportunity-to-Customer Conversion Rate
  7. Lead-to-Customer Conversion Rate
  8. Sales Cycle Length
