Guest Speaker Tom Scales

SAFE 101 Talk Radio: Guest: Tom Scales is a certified trainer in workshops that educate adults on the dangers of child sexual abuse and explaining safe practices to protect children. In addition, he has written workshops to highlight the impact of divorce, grooming, boundaries and workplace challenges in the life of the child and the adult survivor. Scales is a survivor of child sexual abuse and the author of “Terrible Things Happened to Me: A True Story of Violence and Victory.”  On February 25, 2012, Tom received the inaugural 2012 Unsung Hero Award sponsored by Atlanta based Save Our Children and Families Atlanta.  Tom was recently recognized as 2012 Georgia Author of the year for “Terrible Things Happened To Me, a true story of violence & victory” as inspirational work.
