Kirk Zajac, RecoveryPeople Now Sane, but Behind the Microphone a Maniac.

Kirk Zajac is a person in long term recovery and has been the lead host of his own podcast, RecoveryPeople, since mid-2013. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Kirk has called Austin, Texas home since February of 2012 and immediately fell in love with its robust recovery community.  Kirk spends most of his time between a career in sales and helping the still-suffering addict or alcoholic to recover. Inspired by some of his favorite childhood radio shows, such as Loveline, Car Talk and This American Life, Kirk has long wanted to produce a podcast. RecoveryPeople provided him with the opportunity to combine his passion for podcasting and recovery. Behind the mic, his natural, stream-of-consciousness style establishes an authentic conversation with guests exploring a wide range of topics and uncovering the truth. In his daily life, Kirk's passion lies in the process of sanity returning to the addicts and alcoholics he works with.
