Harold Boggs LMFT, LCDC sugar land Texas

I joined the HCCC family of counselors in 2012. Prior to working in Sugar Land, I served on staff at Resource Education Center as a counselor in rural Texas for families with CPS cases and/or drug problems since 2009.  I worked previously in the Pacific Northwest offering family therapy and drug counseling in my private practice, for inmates in the Multnomah County jail, and in other settings.  I have a Master's of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MS) from Portland State University, in Portland Oregon.  I am active in the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT) and in the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and I transferred my credentials to Texas: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC).

God has led me to work with adults: (life-transitional crises such as separation, divorce, remarriage, alcohol or drug problems, depression, anxiety, conflict, grief, suicide prevention, stress management, mood and anxiety disorders; psychosomatic concerns; job loss, career dissatisfaction/change; problems in adjustment to physical illness and disability; body-image issues; and adjustment difficulties of eldering and retirement); with adolescents: (problems with adjustment, self-confidence, sexuality and identity; difficulties in relationship with peers or parents; alcohol or drug problems, depression, anxiety, conflict, grief, stress management, body-image issues, nutritional habits, college or career plans; and leaving home); with children: (behavior problems at home or in school; depression, anger and anxiety; sleep disorders; phobias; impulse control difficulties; adjustment reactions to death; and problems related to parents’ separation, divorce
