Here's a little bio info: Tom R. is a sober member of Alcoholics Anonymous and Cocaine Anonymous. He has been actively practicing prayer and meditation for over 40 years. Since 2007 he has lead retreats, workshops and Step 11 groups for 12-step communities in Washington, California and Colorado and finally got off his butt and wrote this book. He is an author, painter, potter, musician, and songwriter. He is the former Director of Music & the Arts for a large church and school in Seattle, Washington. In 1995, he opened the first of two art schools in Seattle, beginning with just 3 students and before he sold the school he had over 1,000 students a year and 10 teachers. His work has been collected world-wide, and can be found in public and private art collections, and in corporate settings, including the private collections of sports figures such as Wade Boggs, Dave Krieg, Alex Rodriguez; business figures, such as the Craig McCaw, celebrities such as Bill Nye the Science Guy, and a wide range of political figures, including heads of state in France, Spain, Mexico, and the Chinese High Counsel in the United States. He loves people, travel, sponsoring, laughter, reading, and living in Colorado near his daughters, their husbands, and Tom's three grandchildren. This is his first book.
