Note* Glitches screwed up  Mattilda's interview.  Expect to see it in ROYNATION in July

This week's guests
MATTILDA BERNSTIEN SYCAMORE will be talking about her latest book - WHY ARE FAGGOTS SO AFRAID OF FAGGOTS?
and
NICHOLAS MATTE will be by to talk about the current
exhibition at UofT Art Centre -
JUST AS YOU ARE: Portraits by ROBERT GIARD. 40 portraits of gay and lesbian writers that document the 80s and 90s. Included in the exhibition are portraits of eight people that have played a significant role in the LGBTQ community.

WHY ARE FAGGOTS SO AFRAID OF FAGGOTS - A dynamic book that features 30 writers examining their investment in fagdom, queerness and whatever else helps to explain the current mindset of the 21st century queer. The book is funny, serious and challenges anyone who reads it to think about what makes a fag a fag.  Mattilda's other books - two novels, So Many Ways to Sleep Badly and Pulling Taffy.  Editor of four additional nonfiction anthologies, Nobody Passes: Rejecting the Rules of Gender and Conformity (2007), That’s Revolting! Queer Strategies for Resisting Assimilation; Dangerous Families: Queer Writing on Surviving, and Tricks and Treats: Sex Workers Write about Their Clients
