VOICE OF RIO GRANDE Host Dr. David Lawrence Associate Provost and Dean Features Dr. Nanetta Fults, Chair of the Bunce School of Education and Dr. Valerie Valentine, Professor of Education.

3:00 pm,  Wednesday, October 28, 2015 -  Dr. David Lawrence, Associate Provost and Dean, features Dr. Nanetta Fults, Chair of the Bunce School of Education and Dr. Valerie Valentine, Professor of Education. The presentation will include information regarding our current clinical practice model with faculty supervisor Valerie Valentine and a student who is currently completing her clinical practice.  We will also be addressing our Fast Track Intervention Specialist program which provides an opportunity for those persons who hold a four year degree ( in any area)  to obtain a  K-12 Intervention teaching license.  The program consists of 4 semesters of coursework, with courses taught in the evening.  A new cohort will begin next fall, 2016.
